The HTC Tattoo will go on sale in the UK during October, offering consumers the chance to snap up a cutting-edge Android mobile phone at a budget price.
Originally titled the HTC Click, the new mobile phone differs from other HTC Android mobiles such as the Magic and the Hero by doing away with the trackball navigation system in favour of a four-way circular navigation system.
The Tattoo will also utilise HTC’s patented Sense touchscreen user interface that enables users to customise their homescreen.
Other key features of the handset include pre-installed Google applications, a 3.2 megapixel autofocus camera, 3.5mm stereo headset jack and expandable microSD memory.
Peter Chou, chief executive officer of HTC, said: “Everyone wants their own phone to feel like it was specifically made for them. The Tattoo, with HTC Sense represents an easy way to shape your own distinct mobile experience and really make it your own.
“The HTC Tattoo ensures that you can create the most engaging and appropriate mobile experience through simple yet powerful personalization.”
