T-Mobile has begun rolling out the latest Over-the-air (OTA) update for the HTC Desire.
The network had announced via its Twitter account last week that the update was on its way “this month” and can now be downloaded by going to the device’s ‘System Software Updates’ option.
The release brings contract customers up to date with users of unlocked handsets who were able to download the update last month with no delay from the network testing and approval process updates usually have to go through.
Some of the notable improvements brought by Android 2.2 include high-definition video recording, Wi-Fi hotspot tethering for up to five devices and support for Adobe Flash Player 10.1.
Users are advised to use a Wi-Fi connection to download the update, as it is over 90MB.
