Wireless carrier Vodafone will be the only UK network to offer the HTC 7 Trophy when it goes on sale later this month.
The Big V confirmed that it would be exclusively offering the Trophy for free on a two-year contract starting £25 per month. The handset is one of ten announced at the Windows Phone 7 launch event yesterday, five of which are efforts from the Taiwanese manufacturer.
It runs on the latest smartphone operating system from Microsoft, Windows Phone 7, which has been built from the ground up to offer robust social networking experiences.
Key features of the Trophy include a 1GHz Snapdragon processor, a capacious 3.8-inch touchscreen, a five-megapixel camera with LED flash capable of HD video recording, plus 8GB of internal storage.
Also onboard are Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 2.1 connectivity, motion, proximity and ambient light sensors, microUSB port. 3.5mm headset jack and last but not least, Dolby Mobile surround sound support.
Windows Phone 7 integrates some of Microsoft’s best applications and services, including Xbox Live, Zune, Microsoft Office and Microsoft Outlook to just name a few.
The Trophy is being billed as a premier gaming device capable of running over 60 titles available at launch from the Windows Marketplace.
