Images of a forthcoming Motorola Android prototype phone have surfaced online, after a keen-eyed smartfan picked it up at a fleamarket in the US.
According to Gizmodo, which was apparently sent a series of snaps by an acquaintance of the buyer, the handset is likely to pack Android 2.2, AKA Froyo, out of the box and boast a front-facing snapper.
It’ll also reportedly run a Tegra 2 chip and will be equipped with a touchscreen in excess of 3.7 inches.
The unnamed source told the site: “he bought it not knowing it would power on. apparently by holding volume down and power I was able to access a developers menu with a lot of features, one being a bypass activation screen.
"This is a pretty cool phone."
At the time of writing there was no word on whether said phone runs Motorola’s custom skin MotoBlur or if it’ll ever be granted a UK release.
