HTC has summoned tech types to a press event next month to showcase new products that didn’t make it to the Mobile World Congress (MWC).
The invite to the mystery press call on April 12th gives no indication what’s in store other than an exhortation to “join us to see what’s next”. However, the smart money is on the much rumoured two Android tablets, which are expected to pack significantly larger displays than the HTC Flyer.
If we were betting types, we’d also lay money on an appearance for the European version of the hitherto US-only HTC Evo 3D, which we learned this week is making the trip across the Channel imminently.
Less likely, but not out of the question, is a Windows Phone 7 powered smartphone and the much-snapped HTC Pyramid handset.
One thing is for sure, though. After the somewhat underpowered kit exhibited at MWC, it really needs to pull something out of the bag this time around.
