HTC’s freshly unveiled One X and One S smartphones will go on sale on all major UK networks, it has been confirmed.
Three, O2, Vodafone and Everything Everywhere duo Orange and T-Mobile have all revealed via their official ‘Coming Soon’ pages that they will stocking the handsets when they land in our fair isles imminently.
Featuring a 1.5GHz quad core processor, the One X is one of the most powerful smartphones yet and is equally impressive in screen real estate courtesy of a 4.7-inch Pureview display with a native 720p HD resolution.
It’s also home to an eight-megapixel camera with HTC ImageSense and 32GB of on board storage, plus 25GB of cloud storage from Dropbox completely gratis to further sweeten the deal.
And if that didn’t get you salivating, it comes with Android Ice Cream Sandwich installed out of the box, with the latest Sense 4.0 UI slathered on top and built-in Beats audio support.
Next up is the One S, which is HTC’s slimmest handset yet. This boasts a 4.3-inch AMOLED Gorilla Glass display, a 1.5GHz dual core processor, 16GB of storage and an eight-megapixel camera - also with ImageSense – all dressed in a slick aluminium unibody design.
All the rest the One X gets is here, too (think: Ice Cream Sandwich, free Dropbox storage and Beats audio support).
Both handsets are due to land in early April. Customers can receive notifications for availability by registering their interest on the networks’ websites. Of course, we’ll let you know as soon as we have more to share.
