Price and availability gen for the HTC M7 have emerged online, ahead of its anticipated official unveiling this month.
French retailer Phone House is listing the phone on its site with a price of €649.99 when bought SIM-free. That roughly equates to a UK asking price of £560 or so. Or about £30-£35 per month on monthly contracts, we're guessing.
The site also reveals that it will be selling the M7, which some tech watchers had thought was merely a codename/working title, from March 8th.
This tallies with earlier reports that the phone will hit retail some two and a half weeks after being unveiled at a special press event in London on February 19th.
The first HTC release of 2013, the M7’s rumoured spec sheet marks it out as the company’s latest flagship phone, as it bids to put its ruinous 2012 financial performance behind it by streamlining its product portfolio and focussing more on fewer models aimed at the higher end of the market.
Highlights include of the Android Jelly Bean-powered kit are said to include 4.7-inch Full HD display with 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution and 440ppi, a 13-megapixel camera and Beats Audio technology.
A 1.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro is also onboard, as is 32GB of internal storage and NFC support.
