Broadband provider 3 is celebrating after one of its mobile internet deals scooped a prize at a major industry awards ceremony.
The company's bundle of a Samsung N130 netbook and a 15GB data allowance, as well as 100 free texts, for £25 a month was named best mobile broadband package at the Mobile Choice Consumer Awards.
3 beat off competition from rival firms including The Link, O2 and Vodafone by taking home the prize.
Marc Allera, Sales and Marketing Director at 3, said the win validates the company's position "as market leader".
"We are delighted to be recognised as winners for our mobile broadband year on year and to be able to offer our customers deals that are great value for money," he added.
Last week, 3 announced that its mobile Wi-Fi service which is also known as MiFi is now available through two new 18-month contracts.
The deals, which entitle subscribers to a free MiFi unit, include data allowances of either 1GB of 5GB.
