Orange has unveiled another exclusive Android kit with its now-familiar ‘cities of the world’ branding, offering budget-conscious smartfans the chance to get on board with Google’s OS for minimal outlay.

Dubbed the Orange Stockholm, the pay as you go handset retails for £79.99. Not including mandatory £10 top-up, that's £20 less than the carrier’s other current Android budget blower, the San Francisco.

For that outlay, you’re getting a handset that rocks Android 2.2, aka Froyo, out of the box, a 2.8-inch TFT capacitive touchscreen and a 3.2 megapixel camera with video recording.

Also on board are the usual array of connectivity options (think: Wi-Fi, 3G+ and HSDPA), microUSB support, email on the go, an MP3 player, FM radio and UMA signal-boosting technology.

And because this is an Orange phone, the Stockholm comes with the carrier’s Orange Wednesday app pre-installed too, as well as access to its proprietary app store and use of the Orange Maps mapping software.
