T-Mobile offers free Wi-Fi access for mobile broadband customersT-Mobile has launched a new mobile broadband deal which offers users free connection to a Wi-Fi network.

The telecommunications giant's revamped deal will entitle all new customers who sign up for T-Mobile's Web & Walk Plus and Max internet service use of Wi-Fi hotspots to get online for no extra charge.

Starting at £12.50 per month when opting for a FlexT contract and offering speeds of up to 8 Mbps, subscribers will gain use of 39,000 WI-FI hotspots worldwide, some 1,200 of which are in the UK.

Richard Warmsley, T-Mobile's head of Internet on the Move, said: "We're the only network to include unlimited use of our own hotspots. We recognise that it's a quick reliable connection that matters most, not the technology you use to get online.

"We also know that customers don't get bits and bytes so we focus on simple fixed price plans that never have any extra charges, no matter how much surfing you need."

Subscribers signing up for Wi-Fi access without the Web & Walk price plan pay from £10 monthly.
