The official YouTube app for Android has been updated, bringing all-new features to users of the popular video sharing service on Google’s OS.
Version 2.2.14 is a minor but welcome update, which now allows YouTubers to edit information on videos they upload, such the title, description and privacy settings. This is accompanied by a new uploading interface, which is integrated into the app.
Users can also create, edit and delete playlists within the app, making it easier to organise clips on the move, especially if it happens to be their primary source of entertainment. There are a few bug fixes, too, and performance enhancements for an all round smoother viewing experience.
That’s all there’s to it, unfortunately. To grab the update, simply head over to the Android Market and follow the usual steps. If it’s not showing yet in your region, just wait a bit longer and check again.
