Subscribers to TalkTalk's Plus TV service can now record, pause and rewind Internet-based channels and digital terrestrial channels.

Before, subscribers could only use these controls on channels delivered through an aerial.

You can rewind by up to 30 minutes, which is long enough to get back to the beginning of most shows.

"We're more dedicated than ever to helping you get the most from your TalkTalk TV service," a TalkTalk spokesperson said in a statement. "With these great new features and flexible TV Boosts, it's TV you'll be glued to, not stuck with."

TalkTalk currently offers Plus TV for just £9.25 a month for six months, and then the standard rate of £18.50 a month as well as £15.95 a month line rental.

It also offers its Kids Boost for £2.50 – which is half price – during half term.

A couple of weeks ago, it announced a new boost called TVBox, which brings you box sets of the likes of 'Suits', 'Grimm' and '30 Rock' for £5 a month.
