Netflix is rebooting the classic series 'Gilmore Girls' nearly 10 years after it finished. And now we have the first trailer.
Called 'Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life', it won't air like a traditional sitcom. Rather, it will come in four 90-minute parts, each representing a different season of the year (hence the name).
Fans are in for a treat, as many favourite characters are due to return. These include Sookie (played by Melissa McCarthy), Jess (Milo Ventimiglia), Dean (Jared Padalecki), Paris (Liza Weil) and Lane (Keiko Agena).
Indeed, from the trailer, it looks like business as usual. The girls are still hanging around the town of Stars Hollow, drinking coffee and talking very quickly (though their cultural references have obviously moved on).
The new episodes see the girls at a crossroads in their lives: Lorelai's relationship with Luke has come to a standstill, Rory's budding journalism career has stalled, and Emily's world is turned upside down when her husband of 50 years dies.
'Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life' starts on November 25th.
