Netflix's political thriller 'House of Cards' returns to the service on May 30th, and it seems it might be bringing a character back from the dead.

The official Twitter account for the show posted an image of Zoe Barns, who was brutally murdered at the end of series two. In the picture, she's seen smiling, looking out of a card window while on her mobile phone.

Does this mean she's returning? It's not exactly clear. The only text accompanying the image reads: "Chapter 4". Which doesn't exactly give the game away.

The trailer for series five was subtitled "We make the terror". Which suggests all is not exactly roses in Washington for the upcoming episodes.

Some have even suggested that Frank Underwood – played by Kevin Spacey – could be killed off at the hands of his wife, as his health problems worsen.

We'll find out come May 30th.
