Netflix has confirmed three of its most popular series are returning in 2018. Next year we'll see new episodes of 'Stranger Things', 'Jessica Jones' and 'The Punisher'.

Want to know what to expect? Read on for more info.

Jessica Jones

The second season of this Marvel series will touch down on 8th March. It stars Krysten Ritter as the titular hero, a private eye with superhuman strength. She faces off against mind-controlling sociopath Killgrave, played by former Doctor Who David Tennant. We're likely to see other characters from the Marvel universe make an appearance too, like Jones' husband Luke Cage. Roll on March!

Stranger Things

Sci-fi series 'Stranger Things' will air its third series around Halloween 2018. The Netflix US Twitter account confirmed the news earlier this month. Over 15 million people watched the season two premiere within the first three days of its release, making it the most successful recent Netflix original series. So its return wasn't in much doubt. Bring on the return to the Upside Down!

The Punisher

Netflix hasn't named an exact date for series two of 'The Punisher'; it's only said it'll air in 2018. The first series received mixed reviews – some critics disliked its more more cerebral pacing. Jon Bernthal will reprise his role as ex-soldier Frank Castle, aka The Punisher, a man who's no stranger to taking the law into his own hands. Expect fights aplenty.
