BT Sport will make the UEFA Champions League final free to watch for everyone by screening it on YouTube again this year. That means you won't need a subscription to BT Sport to watch.

It's the third year in a row that BT has aired the final for free.

However, only subscribers will be able to watch 360-degree highlights via the BT Sport app.

YouTube will show the match in 4K, for those using a compatible browser. It will also be screened in that resolution on the BT Sport website. But unlike last year's final, it won't be screened in virtual reality.

Last year's final was watched by 6.5 million viewers in the UK. About a third of those streamed it digitally.

According to BT, Champions League viewing figures are up 47 per cent this season.

The match between Real Madrid and Liverpool takes place on 26th May.
