Consumers have just four days to take advantage of a cheap mobile broadband promotion from O2, which makes getting online on the go more affordable than ever.
Until Monday 29th, O2’s USB modem will be priced at £14.67 – down from £29 previously. Once they have paid the one-off charge for the dongle, buyers are free to choose either a weekly or daily pay as you go deal or one-month mobile broadband contract.
Those opting for a pay as you go offer will be able to add credit in the form of top up vouchers. If they opt for the Mobile Broadband Daily deal this is charged at £2 per 500Mb. Any unused credit expires at the end of the day.
An alternative pay as you go option is available in the form of the Mobile Broadband Weekly offer. This lets owners add 1GB of usage for £7.50, which must be used up within seven days of purchase.
Meanwhile, the Pay Monthly deal is charged £15 for 3GB, which must be used within a month. Customers who choose this option sign a short-term rolling contract, but are free to terminate the arrangement with just 30 days notice without incurring a financial penalty.
Both the pay as you go and one-month contract deals entitle buyers to a connection of up to 3.6Mb. O2 dongles are PC and Mac compatible and customers are free to return their dongle within 30 days if they are unsatisfied with their service.
O2 is currently also operating a cheap home broadband promotion with a cut-price three-month introductory period on its packages for new customers who sign up for 12 months online.
The company’s entry level Standard offer is £7.34 for the first three months and £12.23 thereafter. The Premium package is £9.79 for the duration of the preliminary period before reverting to £14.68, while the Pro offer is £17.13 for the first three months and £22.02 per month for the remaining nine months.
