The Apple Watch has officially gone on sale, two weeks after Apple started taking pre–orders for its long–awaited wearable.
Overnight, Apple flung open the virtual doors to its Watch App Store, which is only available to those who have bought one of its myriad smartwatch options.
Those who managed to snare a device early enough have been receiving confirmation of shipment, with some early birds reportedly even getting their mitts on their new timepiece today.
Despite today being the launch day, no Apple stores will have stock available to those wanting to queue for an Apple Watch.
However, a number of high–end fashion outlets, including Dover Street Market in London, have a limited number of watches up for grabs.
The Apple Watch has garnered largely positive reviews in recent weeks.
And despite no official figures emanating from Apple, it’s believed that over two million units have already been sold, making it the most popular smartwatch ever.
Those looking to order now, though, will not receive their watch until June, due to constrained supply.
