LG’s 910 watch phone has been stealing headlines at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona, ahead of its official UK launch later this year.
The innovative phone stood out at the MWC amid a range of new, multi-functional smartphones as the mobile phone industry gears up for 2009.
The phone is equipped with a touchscreen, with owners employing a Bluetooth headset for making and receiving calls.
Other stand-out elements of the phone include HSDPA for fast downloads, media playback and video calling.
Orange has won exclusive rights to sell the LG 910 handset in the UK, with retail sector experts forecasting a price point of around £100 on an 18-month contract.
Yves Maitre, senior vice president of devices at Orange, said: "This phone really manages to combine form with functionality, and its chic styling and mobile broadband connectivity will no doubt appeal to all the early adopters out there.
"It is a great addition to our range, showing that we can give customers the latest in high-tech design for a totally new kind of multimedia experience."
