Nine new Samsung handsets have been confirmed after pictures leaked online, as the Korean mobile company gears up for 2009.
Among the phones are the Samsung S5050, which teams a 3.2 megapixel camera, FM radio, 50Mb of internal memory and touch sensitive keys.
Also notable is the Samsung B5702. This also sports a 3.2 megapixel camera and offers Bluetooth 2.0 and USB 2.0 connectivity and a microSD card slot for boosting storage capacity.
Meanwhile, those seeking a more pared-down mobile phone are being offered the Samsung C5212.
This offers internal memory of 40MB and the scope to boost this to 4GB with a microSD card, plus a 1.3 megapixel camera and GPRS and EDGE for fast downloads.
Samsung’s new array of mobile phones are expected to be officially unveiled at the Mobile World Congress to be held in Barcelona in two weeks time.
Other companies set to exhibit their wares at the mobile phone industry trade event include Nokia and Sony Ericsson.
