UK mobile phone enthusiasts will be able to get their hands on the HTC Magic handset as early as next month, it has been confirmed.
The HTC Magic has today appeared on the Vodafone site with a launch date of April. Interested parties are given the option to sign up for updates which will provide them with a specific date nearer the time.
Full specifications of the Android-powered HTC Magic have yet to be confirmed, but it is known to feature a 3.2” touchscreen, an MP3 player and GPS.
Additionally, owners will benefit from Wi-Fi access, a 3.2 megapixel camera and fast downloads thanks to the handset’s HSDPA (3G) compatibility.
However, unlike its forerunner the T-Mobile G1 the HTC Magic will not include a slide-out Qwerty keypad.
It is thought that the HTC Magic will initially be available in a choice of black or white.
