HTC’s latest smartphone the Touch Pro 2 is set to land in the UK on June 12th, priced at £519.99 to buy contract-free.
The release date for consumers wishing to pre-order the handset outright has been named by popular online retailer Xpansys.
HTC’s flagship device is also expected to be offered through a range of carriers around this time, although price points have yet to be confirmed.
Features of the HTC Touch Pro 2 include HTC’s patented TouchFLO user interface and a full, slide-out Qwerty keyboard for entering large amounts of text.
A 3.2 megapixel camera is also installed, as well as HSDPA and GPS support and a 3.6-inch touchscreen.
The new phone follows the success of the HTC Touch Pro, and marks HTC’s return to the business handset market after its foray into more consumer-focussed mobiles in the form of the HTC Magic and the T-Mobile G1.
