Nokia’s latest music phone, the Nokia X6, is landing in the UK on Friday, mobile phone retailer Phones 4 U has announced.
The handset which is a key part of Nokia’s assault on the Christmas market will be free from £35 per month on a monthly contract deal.
Features of the X6 include a five megapixel camera Carl Zeiss lens and dual LED flash and a 3.2-inch capacitive touchscreen display.
The music-optimised, upcoming mobile phone will also house a media player and will be packaged with 12 months free use of Comes With Music.
This service entitles users to unlimited music downloads, which can be kept once the contract expires.
Nokia’s other flagship handset launch for Christmas is the N900 – a high-end smartphone which will be the first Nokia phone to feature its Maemo operating system. Previously, the OS has been employed exclusively in internet tablets.
The N900 also offers a slide out QWERTY keyboard, an RM Cortex-A8 processor and 1GB of dedicated application memory.
