The highly-rated, music-focused Nokia X6 smartphone has been added to Virgin Media's range of contract mobile phones.
Virgin Media is offering the X6 for free on a tariff that includes unlimited mobile internet use for £25 monthly over an 18-month minimum contract period.
Several incentives are also available as part of the carrier's new X6 tariffs, including the chance to insure a mobile for three months without having to pay a penny.
The Nokia X6 is a music phone with some advanced features, including a capacitive touchscreen interface and 16GB of onboard memory for storing media and apps.
Although Nokia has had a little trouble with some of its more recent smartphone launches, including customer complaints relating to the N97 and its [N97 Mini](/mobiles/deals/nokian97mini/ variant, the X6 has been received overwhelmingly positively by most experts and fans.
Touchscreen technology has played a big part in consumers' favourable response to the handset, by offering a much more user friendly experience than many other high-profile Nokia phones.
