Nokia appears to have pushed back the UK release of the cheap and cheerful C3 in the UK until August, which means that this full QWERTY mobile phone will not hit the streets for over two months.
Nokia had originally planned to launch the C3 in June and anticipation was building around this well equipped mobile phone.
However, an online retailer has now published an August release date for the handset, which probably means that it will not be hitting the UK until the summer is at its height.
The Nokia C3 is a messaging phone with a full QWERTY keypad and a 2.4-inch screen. Its lack of touch sensitivity is not considered to be a disadvantage given its £80 price tag, as most touchscreen mobiles in this section of the market offer less than stellar interactivity when compared to the physical keypads of phones such as the C3.
Nokia has not made any official comment about the C3's potential delay, so for the time being fans will have to take the word of the team at Play.com. It could be a simple error on the site, so if you were looking forward to the C3's arrival, a June release is not entirely out of the question.
