LG has unveiled a new social networking focussed mobile phone aimed at the burgeoning teen market.
LG is planning to expand the Town range with a number of budget mobiles in the future and with messaging and connectivity given star treatment, the phones will appeal to youngsters who have a passion for Twitter and Facebook.
LG has created a proprietary social networking interface that collates all of the updates from your different accounts and profiles, which is a feature usually reserved for more expensive mobile phones.
The Town's three inch touchscreen display is not going to win any awards, but it benefits from backup provided by the full QWERTY keypad, hidden by a slide mechanism.
A two megapixel camera features on the rear, with the GT350 expected to hit the market for less than £10 on pay as you go deals.
The Town GT350 will be available in the UK from the beginning of July.
