The HTC HD7 is set to break cover on October 18th and will cost €559 (£472) for SIM free customers, according to a leaked roadmap.
The document, which was unearthed by WMPoweruser, pertains to the German release date for the HD7. But given that European handset release dates are usually fairly universal, the roadmap strongly suggests that a UK release is due around the same time.
HTC has yet to officially even confirm the existence of the handset, which is the third in the company’s entertainment focussed HD phone series.
However, in keeping with the spirit of earlier editions it is rumoured to feature a large 4.3-inch screen for enjoying media on the go and an eight megapixel camera capable of video recording in high definition.
Also reportedly onboard the Windows Phone 7 powered smartphone is a dual core 1GHz processor for smooth multi-tasking.
Microsoft is due to officially launch its new mobile phone platform during October, with industry experts citing October 11th as the most likely date.
