HTC's flagship smartie powered by the new Windows Phone 7 operating system goes on sale today, exclusively on O2.
The HD7 is one of ten handsets unveiled earlier this month running the new software from Microsoft. O2 will be the only carrier in the UK to offer the handset for free on a two-year contract starting at £45 per month, which comes with 900 cross-network minutes, unlimited texts and 750MB of inclusive data.
Pay & Go customers will be able to pick up the handset for a one of cost of £380.
Key features of the HD7 include a capacious 4.3-inch Super-LCD touchscreen, a five-megapixel snapper capable of high-definition video recording and 16GB of onboard storage for all your multimedia and applications.
Windows Phone 7 was built from the ground up to cater to the growing demand for social networking and robust information management. Part of this is accomplished by the introduction of ‘hubs’, which serve as a panoramic view of all the people and information that matter to you the most.
There’s also an array of entertainment options here, including the Zune music+videos hub and Xbox Live integration, which allows users to play games online with friends.
