A new video ad for the much-anticipated LG Optimus 3D has hit the web, giving us another look at what could be a genuinely groundbreaking bit of kit.

The video is the second to surface ahead of the official unveiling of the handset, which is the first 3D capable phone ever that does not require special glasses, at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) later this month.
Alas, the lack of details or specs in the ad mean we’re still largely in the dark about it. But we do know that it’ll offer 3D video recording as well as playback via a clever dual lens, rear-mounted camera.
It’s also confirmed to boast a range of connectivity options, including HDMI and DLNA for 3D "content sharing anytime, anywhere”. With these onboard, users will able to stream videos around the home to 3D and Wi-Fi supported devices.
Despite this lack of detail, UK carriers have been quick to confirm they’re getting on board with the Optimus 3D. Both 3 and Vodafone have already confirmed plans to range the handset on contract plans from launch.
