The hotly awaited third iteration of LG’s Prada designer smartphone will be landing in Blighty later this month, it has been confirmed.
Currently available to domestic customers only, the latest fashion-focussed collaboration between the Korean electronics giant and the Italian luxury brand will hit store shelves in “most European countries” in January, which we’re assuming for now includes our fair isles.
Unveiled last month at a joint signing event, the LG Prada 3.0 is no slouch when it comes with high-end specs, boasting a 4.3-inch touchscreen with a WVGA resolution (800 x 480), a 1GHz dual core processor, 8GB of on board storage and an eight-megapixel camera that records in 1080p HD.
There’s also a front-facing 1.3-megapixel camera for video calls, a microSD slot for expandable memory (up to 32GB) and Android 2.3 – aka Gingerbread installed out of the box with a custom UI that goes hand in hand with the handset’s slick black design.
