A fresh image of a super-affordable addition to the Lumia range has surfaced online, as Nokia makes good on its long-term pledge to bring down the cost of Windows kits.
Dubbed the Lumia 510, the phone pictured is a compact kit running what looks to be the latest Windows Phone 8 version of Microsoft’s OS and sporting a rather cute rounded form factor.
According to GSM Arena’s Chinese source, Nokia will sell the handset for $150. That could equate to just £70 in the UK, making it the cheapest Lumia phone yet and potentially bringing Windows Phone to the hitherto largely untapped pay as you go market.
It’s not yet clear, however, whether Nokia will make the phone available outside China.
Putative spec-sheet highlights take in a four-inch WVGA display, 4GB of on board memory and an 800Mhz processor.
