LG's G2 is an absolute powerhouse of a phone, but the fact it has its volume buttons on the back divided opinion. Now leaked pictures of the G3 have surfaced, and it seems LG is sticking to its guns, though it has refined its design.
The snaps show what purports to be the G3 with flat volume buttons on the back. This would mean you could lie the phone flat on its back, which you couldn't with the G2.
The leak also teases a few specs for the forthcoming smartie.
OIS is mentioned, which is thought to refer to optical image stabilisation. Storage options will be 16GB or 32GB. And RAM is thought to be 2GB or 3GB.
The photo also shows a sensor beside the camera lens, though it's not known what this would do.
The G3 has previously been rumoured to have a 2K display with a resolution of 1,440x2,560 pixels. Other specs include an octo-core Odin processor, 13-megapixel camera, and Android 4.4 KitKat.
The G3 isn't the only smartie rumoured to have a 2K display. Samsung's Galaxy S5 is rumoured to be coming in a 2K version too.
This edition, known as the Galaxy S5 Prime, has been spotted on a shipping database, and is said to be launching this year.
