The iPhone 7 has appeared in a hitherto-unseen video, confirming rumours that the device will not come with a standard 3.5mm headphone slot.
Recent leaks have seen Apple’s upcoming smartphone in a number of crystal-clear photos that are a world away from the blurrycam shots that tech-watchers are accustomed to. But this is the first time we’ve had a proper look at the handset on video.
The iPhone 7’s design is largely identical to the iPhone 6s. The only major changes appear to be the removal of the headphone port and the addition of a new speaker at the bottom of the device. There are no plastic antenna bands.
Apple has been tempering expectations around the iPhone 7 for months, with a series of leaks proving that this year’s model will offer little in the way of innovation.
