HTC has trimmed the price of its flagship HTC 10 smartphone, ahead of the annual bonanza of smartphone price-cutting that is Black Friday.

From now until October 30th, HTC has cut the cost of the HTC 10 by 15% when you buy it outright and off-contract from the HTC site.

That works out at a reduction of £85.50 and total outlay of £484.59 (usual price: £569.99).

To qualify for the offer, which applies across all colour options including the new red colourway, you’ll need to input the discount code ‘HTC15’ at the point of purchase.

With a design that sticks closely to the time-honoured HTC template of premium materials and a rugged 'industrial' look, the HTC 10 is also home to a handy fast-charge mode that charges the battery to 50% in half an hour and a 5.2-inch QHD screen.

It also features HTC BoomSound Hi-Fi speakers and a 12-megapixel ‘UltraPixel’ camera with laser autofocus and a wide-angle lens. Around the front, there’s a UltraSelfie camera with optical image stabilisation to elminate blurrycam.

Other features include Android Marshmallow, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor and 4GB of RAM.
