HTC has slashed the price of its U Ultra smartphone, three months after it was first launched.
The handset-maker has announced it is taking $150 off of the SIM–free price in the United States, dropping the cost of the device to $599.
Disappointingly, right now there’s no such drop for UK punters, with the official HTC site still selling the U Ultra for a hefty £649.
But, all being well, we'd expect some sort of comparable price cut for us in Blighty soon too.
The Taiwanese mobile-maker is reportedly readying a new flagship phone, the HTC U, for launch later this spring.
Said to come with an all–metal frame, it's also purported to feature an all-screen front in the style of Samsung's Galaxy S8.
