Samsung’s Galaxy Note 8 could be available to buy just one day after its launch, according to a staff member at US retailer Best Buy.
Writing on Reddit, the anonymous worker claimed that Samsung and US network Verizon will start selling the Galaxy Note 8 on 24th August.
The Korean company is due to launch its long–awaited flagship phone at a special event in New York on 23rd August.
Korean insiders have said that the Galaxy Note 8 will be on sale in Samsung’s home country by 15th September.
It’s not yet clear whether either of these dates will have any bearing on when the Galaxy Note 8 will be out in the UK.
However, with Apple’s iPhone 8 just weeks away, a rush release seems like a smart move on Samsung’s part. It would therefore be surprising if it left it longer than a few weeks to start offering its leading handset on these shores.
The Galaxy Note 8 is said to come a with a huge, 6.3–inch Infinity Display, vertical dual lens camera and the latest Qualcomm processor.
