Lara Croft giant iPhone

Video game vixen and Tomb Raider heroine Lara Croft made her debut appearance on Apple’s iDevices in style, with a giant iPhone constructed from 56 working iPads.

The mock-up phone was placed bang in the middle of London’s busy St. Pancras International train station and delighted passersby with clips of Lara in her latest outing, “Guardian of Light”.

Crystal Dynamics head-honcho Darrell Gallagher, said: “Gaming on the move is a fantastic way to keep entertained on those long winter commutes.

"And with temperatures in the UK set to drop again this week, people need this today more than ever.”

Although the game wasn’t playable on the spot, lucky commuters were later given away the iPads, which were pre-loaded with the game.

Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light is available right now from the iTunes Store for £3.99 for the iPhone and £5.99 on iPad.
