Rumours that Apple is readying at least two new iPhones for launch this year got a fresh layer of weight today, courtesy of photos purportedly revealing the handsets’ internal components.

Unearthed by the eagle-eyed types at Nowhereelese.fr, the images are typically out of focus, but upon closer inspection clearly reveal parts resembling the iPhone 5’s loudspeaker unit, with some noticeable differences.

According to their source, whose identity remains anonymous to protect them from professional sanctions, the parts are intended for iPhone 5S, widely expected to be an iterative update, and the iPhone 6, which should be a completely redesigned model.

The source also revealed the iPhone 5S will be launched between March and July while the iPhone 6 is likely to be unveiled by end of the year.

Industry chatter also suggests Apple will launch a third iPhone, the so-called iPhone Math (or iPhone +), which people familiar with the iGiant’s plans claim will boast a significantly larger display to compete with Samsung’s huge-selling Galaxy Note range.

Rumours of multiple new iPhones landing this year come hot on the heels of Apple’s quarterly earnings for Q4 2012, which missed analyst expectations and has caused its share price to fall to an 11-month low.
