Nokia has begun shipping the Nokia E75 business-orientated handset, which offers advanced e-mail functions and dual keyboards.
The phone is the latest in Nokia’s E Series of phones, with which the Finnish mobile phone manufacturer hopes to challenge the pre-eminence of BlackBerry handsets.
To this end, the Nokia E75 has been equipped with an e-mail aggregation function, which lets users combine their business, personal, and web-based accounts for ease of use.
Also onboard is a Qwerty keypad to make it simpler and quicker to enter large amounts of text.
A statement from Nokia read: “The new arrival is the first device to ship with the new email user interface, offering full desktop email functionality, and complete integration of Nokia's email and messaging services.”
Other features of the Nokia E75 include a 3.2 megapixel camera, a microSD card slot, HSDPA compatibility for fast downloads, A-GPS and a large 2.4-inch display.
The Nokia E75 is expected to appear on a range of UK mobile phone networks.
