Sony Ericsson cameraphone owners are being given the chance to gain access to VIP parties with a new competition.
To be in with a chance of winning and being named one of three so-called Smile Hunters, entrants must submit photographs they have taken with their handsets.
Once nominated as a Smile Hunter, they will be granted access to a host of VIP events where they will be tasked with capturing as many smiles as possible.
In order to help them with their job, Sony Ericsson is providing Smile Hunting Kits, comprising either a Cyber-shot Sony Ericsson C510 or C905 8GB phone, as well as concert tickets and passes to music festivals and nightclubs.
News of the contest comes as Sony Ericsson is gearing up to release its groundbreaking Idou 12 megapixel cameraphone, which is claimed to offer picture quality on a par with a dedicated digital camera.
First unveiled at the Mobile World Congress, the Idou is also home to a large 3.5 inch touchscreen and a host of advanced imaging features.
