A new Sony Ericsson mobile phone, codenamed Susan, has surfaced in a seemingly official YouTube clip.
Available to view online now, the video shows a handset with a traditional candybar form factor, a metal shell and an accelerometer.
Also in evidence is a five megapixel camera with LED flash, which suggests that the phone will be part of Sony Ericsson’s Cybershot range of cameraphones.
News of developments comes as Sony Ericsson is gearing up for the Christmas rush with a host of new, cutting-edge mobile phones.
These include the Jalou a fashion phone, which is the result of a collaboration with Italian fashion house Dolce&Gabbanna, and the environmentally friendly Naite - a handset constructed principally from recycled materials and offers extended battery life.
The company is currently enjoying strong sales with its TV-advertised Satio, which houses a 12.2 megapixel camera and vast 3.5-inch touchscreen, and is the joint venture’s most advanced cameraphone so far.
