Nokia has released an updated version of its popular 5530 XpressMusic mobile phone for American consumers and on top of the standard features and functions it comes complete with 20 of the best selling mobile games preinstalled.
The apps have not significantly increased the price of the mobile over the original and neither are they half-baked or poorly produced. The 20 have been split evenly between Electronic Arts (EA) and Gameloft, both of which have a significant history of producing high quality mobile games.
The Sims 3, Tetris, Monopoly and Trivial Pursuit are all included amongst EA's line up, although it is the 3D visuals and high speed action of Need for Speed Undercover that make it the most interesting addition to the list.
Meanwhile, Gameloft has offered its own racing game Asphalt Elite Racing 4 for the package, along with Pro Gold World Tour 2010 and Platinum Solitaire 2.
The premium for all 20 titles is just £6 on top of the basic retail price of the standard 5530, so if Nokia decides to launch the phone in the UK it could be a great way of saving money on Ovi Store purchases and playing games on your mobile phone straight out of the box.
