HTC seems to have retained its ability to wow with new releases, as the latest pictures of the HTC Incredible made an appearance online, resulting in a flurry of media approval.
Tech site Pocketnow was tipped off by one of its sources who provided it with a glut of detailed real-world images of the Incredible in action.
HTC is planning to launch the new smartphone in conjunction with Verizon in the US, so a name change could well occur before it arrives in the UK.
The Incredible uses Android 2.1 overlaid with a tweaked version of HTC's own Sense user interface (UI). It also looks to have a 3.7-inch AMOLED screen that appears to have an impressive colour palette in the images.
According to the source of the images, there is a Snapdragon processor from Qualcomm working its socks off inside the Incredible, which provides an experience that is "fast, really fast".
Along with the images, a video was also discovered, but the overwhelming number of mobile enthusiasts and media types trying to view it seems to have resulted in the video being taken down.
It may resurface elsewhere, or appear once more when the issues of bandwidth usage are remedied.
