The Android-based HTC Desire is now available from every major UK mobile phone network provider, with O2 becoming the latest to join the party.
Smartphone fans who sign up for an 18-month contract with the carrier will need to fork out £639 for the privilege of owning the in-demand handset.
This includes an upfront payment of nearly £100 to cover the cost of the phone itself and a £30 monthly charge which gives you 100 inclusive voice minutes.
Unlimited internet access and texts are included and will be essential if owners want to make the most of the HTC Desire. However, O2 has not added in any form of roaming Wi-Fi access to its network of nationwide hotspots.
