3 has confirmed it will be offering iPad mobile data plans, ahead of the arrival of Apple's wonder tablet in the UK on Friday.
Under 3's microSIM price plans owners will be charged £7.50 per month for a 1GB download limit. For twice the outlay, they can get ten times the amount of usage, with a 10GB monthly cap available for £15.
Marc Allera of 3 said: "Our network, the largest in the country, has been optimised for the mobile internet, ensuring our customers enjoy the very best mobile performance on the iPad."
Apple, PC World and Currys will all have iPads in stock and rumours suggest that a deal locking out rival retailers such as Comet and John Lewis is going to be in operation for a couple of months.
The demand for the iPad in the US has pushed back its UK release date, but the cheapest Wi-Fi only device will be selling for £429 in a couple of days alongside its more expensive 3G counterpart.
Other carriers offering iPad mobile broadband deals are Vodafone, O2 and Orange.
