The LG Optimus 3D is definitely coming to the UK, after Vodafone announced plans to range the handset later this year.
According to a report from Electric Pig, the carrier would not be drawn on pricing or a release date for the handset, but stated that it expects to get it out on contacts just “as soon as it’s launched”.
Set to be unveiled at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) later this month, the Optimus 3D spec sheet includes a “glasses-free LCD panel”, so there’s no need for silly specs for watching 3D content, plus a dual lens camera that means it’s able to record 3D video too.
Other than that features are still pretty thin on the ground. But we do know that it’ll also pack diverse connectivity options such as HDMI and DLNA for 3D content sharing anytime, anywhere”. That means you’ll be able stream vids around the home to displays and recorders with 3D Wi-Fi support.
LG will be demoing the handset at its stall at MWC in Barcelona between February 14th and 18th.
