Samsung has officially certified its forthcoming Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10 Plus in Russia, three months before the handsets are due to be revealed.
While the devices are not name checked, files posted with Russian regulators mention the same code names for the Galaxy S10 and S10 Plus that have been kicking around online for months.
A third model, with a dual SIM setup, is also mentioned. However, there’s no word on the so–called Galaxy S10 Lite, which is expected to take aim at Apple’s iPhone XR.
Both the Galaxy S10 and S10 Plus are due to feature a new Infinity O screen with camera cutout, as well as the latest Android Pie software and One UI custom skin. Some rumours have posted towards the Galaxy S10 coming with a quadruple camera setup.
The devices are also likely to come with in–screen fingerprint scanning tech, allowing Samsung to slim down each handset.
With Apple pricing its top–end iPhone XS from £999, it’s likely Samsung will offer its Galaxy S10 at around the same price point off contract.
