Meanwhile, high street retailer Phones 4U has also confirmed to us that the Galaxy Nexus will begin shipping to customers a day early on November 16th, quashing any lingering doubts of a delay.

Debuting as the first handset to market with the latest, tastiest Ice Cream Sandwich iteration of the Android operating system, the Galaxy Nexus is home to a wide array of improvements over its predecessor, the Nexus S.

Standout features include a 4.65-inch Super AMOLED HD display, a 1.2GHz dual core processor, a five-megapixel camera and 16GB of on board memory.
