Nokia's E72 smartphone is being given a fresh software update, bringing a host of new features to the BlackBerry-bothering mobile.
The official update adds support for a recently revamped version of the Ovi Maps app, which improves on the already impressive turn-by-turn navigation service with various tweaks and alterations.
The revamped Ovi Maps app now lets users view points of interest provided by Lonely Planet and Michelin, with the most up-to-date mapping and information.
Nokia has also worked on the software in a number of other areas. Performance has been improved in the email service and the calendar and contacts pages now operate more smoothly.
The E72's web browser is another area that has received attention, with Nokia adding in internet radio functionality.
The Nokia E72 is a well equipped business smartphone with serious but stylish looks and a host of features.
Wi-Fi and high speed mobile internet provided by 3G networks make it an excellent email and browsing companion.
