Nokia’s debut Android phone has shown its face once again, giving us what must surely be our final glimpse of the handset ahead of its unveiling later this month.
What looks like a catalogue shot or photo for an ad has been unearthed by @evleaks and shows the much leaked smartie in a very Pop!, rather lively shade of green.
The leaked image comes after Nokia last week gave its social networking pages a green respray. Taken together, this must surely mean that while the phone might be swapping Nokia’s standard-issue Windows Phone for Android, it will retain the Lumia range’s eye-popping colours.
Codenamed Normandy but set to be officially released under the ‘X’ moniker, the handset’s key features are likely to include a forked version of Android with Google’s key apps replaced by Nokia’s equivalents and dual-SIM support.
The budget phone is purportedly aimed at markets in the developing world, but may find its way to The West if it’s a hit overseas.
